Step 1: No-Obligation Consultation

Set up a free consultation with an experienced member of our team. We will meet with you and evaluate your property’s energy needs. Then we will analyze your electric bill, educate you on how solar works, and explain all the financial incentives available to you.

Step 3: Utility Interconnection

We take care of the utility documentation while keeping you informed throughout the process. Before an installation is scheduled, a structural engineer takes a final look at the system, analyzes, and approves.

Step 4: Permitting

We will pull all necessary permits for your solar installation. Once the permits are approved by the town, we will schedule your solar installation.

Step 5: Inspection & Commissioning

Intelligent Solar will conduct a quality control assessment and will attend the local building department inspections. Your electric utility will swap out your electrical meter and give you permission to operate (PTO). We will then come out to turn on your system.

Commercial Portfolio

  • Gebo, Inc - Northborough, MA

This 72 panel, 25 kW, ground mount was installed on an old helicopter landing pad which was no longer used. It sits right next to the building it feeds and was the perfect location since it sits up high and away from the shadows of most of the surrounding trees.

  • Cordelia's Farm (Indian Head Farm) - Berlin, MA

This 72 panel, 26 kW ground mount is located on a small section of unused farmland. It powers the entire farm’s operation and then some. The system also includes a large battery bank, which will allow the farm to indefinitely run off-grid in the event of a power outage. This was an important feature, since losing power for an extended period of time could mean many thousands of dollars in lost revenue! The battery also provides revenue to the farm by allowing them to participate in demand response programs with the local electric utility.

  • C.G. Construction Company, Inc. - Berlin, MA

This 27 panel, 10 kW roof mount provides all of the power needs for this company’s new garage and workshop helping keep their monthly operating costs low.
